Scirus Toolbar

With the new Scirus Toolbar, finding scientific, technical and medical information on the Web is easier than ever. The Scirus Toolbar brings scientific searching at your fingertips - wherever you are on the Web, and now offers the following new functionality:

•	Pop-up Blocker: eliminates pop-up ads on the pages you visit via the Toolbar
•	Highlight: facilitates viewing the results by highlighting the searched term(s) on the results page
•	Last Search: reruns the last search you performed
•	Submit Web Site: enables you to submit a Web site to the Scirus team for consideration to add to the Scirus index
•	Word Find: facilitates navigating through your results by highlighting the term(s) you searched for on the results page

After installing the Scirus Toolbar it will appear below your Internet Explorer address bar. You can easily select the following search options:

•	Search Scirus: search across the complete Scirus index of scientific, technical and medical information
•	Search Web Sources: search the extensive Scirus Web index comprising of university and government Web sites, scientist homepages, society homepages and many other Internet sites
•	Search Journal Sources: search across the journal-based content indexed in Scirus
•	Search Preferred Web Sources: search across preferred Web collections including patents, technical reports, institutional repositories and many more
